Owing to the maintenance work, the Central Railway Mumbai Division has announced the cancellation of multiple trains on the Mumbai-Pune train route from May 28 to June 2. The Mumbai-Pune train cancellation will impact a large number of passengers who use this regional track. The Railways said that the Mumbai to Pune trains will remain cancelled due to the scheduled special blocks to facilitate Non-Interlocking (NI) work.

This decision will impact several important Mumbai-Pune trains including the Pune-Mumbai Pragati Superfast Express, Pune-Mumbai Intercity Superfast Express and Mumbai-Pune Deccan Express.

The Central Railway has issued a statement asking passengers to cooperate and understand the necessity of these temporary cancellations. “We request passengers to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused,” the Railways statement read.
