Step 1: Fill in your application for International Driving Permit on Form – 4A and attach a copy of your valid driving license
Step 2: Under Form 1A, get your valid medical certificate from a medical officer
Step 3: Attach a copy of your passport (new rules to get passport) and if applicable, present valid proof of your visa (student visa application) along with travel tickets
Step 4: Attach four copies of your recent passport-size photograph
Step 5: Submit with your fees. The fee for issuing of International Driving Permit is ₹1000

For How Long Is The International Driving License Valid?
