Entailing an investment of Rs 150 crore, this 140-key grand resort will be spread across 8 acres of prime land at the foothills of the Aravallis on the Delhi-Jaipur highway and is scheduled to be operational by October this year, just before the wedding season starts.

Considering the emergence of Jaipur as the capital of destination weddings in India, the hotel will be custom-designed to cater to premium weddings. The resort will offer 8 different venues for wedding planners and organizers, compared to the typical 3 to 4 venues available in most hotels and resorts.

Additionally, the property has implemented climate-sensitive solar passive zoning techniques to reduce the impact of solar heat. Also, instead of going too loud on the local Rajasthani architecture, they have preferred to go with a mix of Balinese and local Rajasthani design.

Talking about their upcoming resort, Amrita Gupta, Director of Manglam Group, and Founder President of CREDAI Rajasthan Women’s Wing, says, “The significance of the wedding industry in fuelling economic activity and driving new business ventures is more evident than ever. Known for its royalty and rich culture, Rajasthan has always been the heart of India’s royal wedding scene. The state hosts 1.5 to 2 million marriages annually on average and the target consumer is looking for a venue that offers a luxurious experience weaved in traditional values.”

Recognizing this, the Manglam Group has ventured into the hospitality sector by partnering with Marriott for the upcoming Westin Jaipur resort.

“This project is not just a business expansion for us; it is a strategic response to the growing demand for distinctive wedding venues in Jaipur. Situated on eight acres of prime land along the Delhi-Jaipur highway and nestled against the backdrop of the Aravali hills, Westin Jaipur will offer a blend of luxury and tradition. It is expected to set new standards in hospitality and the entire region,” adds Gupta.
