IGNOU July Admissions 2024: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has commenced the admission cycle for the July session 2024 academic year for undergraduate, postgraduate and other programmes through Open and Distance Mode (ODL) and Online Mode. IGNOU July 2024 Admission: How To Apply
Please note the candidates have to provide their own mobile number and email id at the time of registration.
- The first step is to visit the official website of IGNOU i.e. https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/ for ODL programmes and https://ignouiop.samarth.edu.in/ for online mode or programmes.
- On the homepage of both the websites you will find a link that says ‘New Registration’; click here for new registration and create your account by filling the required details.
- After the initial registration is logged in using your username and ID, select the course for which you wish to apply for and upload all the necessary documents.
- Candidates must re-read all the details that have been filled in and after ensuring click on the ‘submit’ button.
- The next step is to pay the fees.
- Download and save the application form with you, don’t forget a copy of it for future reference.
Before proceeding for the filling form online the candidate must have scanned photograph (less than 100 KB), scanned signature (less than 100 KB), scanned copy of relevant educational qualification (less than 200 KB), scanned copy of experience certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB), scanned copy of category certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB).
IGNOU July 2024 Admission: Fee Payment
Please note that while submitting your registration form, candidates have to pay the registration fee which is non-refundable along with the programme fee of the first semester or first year of your course. Candidates have to pay Rs 300 for the registration fee for all the undergraduate courses, these fees can be paid by a debit/credit card or net banking. Whereas the post graduate courses academic fees start from Rs 8,400 to Rs 45,000.
In case you apply for cancellation after the confirmation of admission an amount equivalent to 15% of the programme fee of Rs 2,000 will be deducted from the paid fee. For candidates who have opted for a soft copy of the SLM the fees will be refunded after deducting the registration fee and you will not be given any refund if you cancel admission after the 60 days of the closing date of the admissions.
IGNOU July 2024 Admission: Eligibility Criteria
Those students who want to take admission in undergraduate courses must have 10+2 from a recognized educational board with minimum 50 % marks. For postgraduate courses students must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant stream from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks.
