Speaking exclusively to News18 Showsha, Ritesh said that Rakhi was admitted to the hospital after experiencing pain in her chest and stomach. He claimed that doctors discovered a tumour in Rakhi’s uterus after a couple of tests were performed. They have suspected Rakhi has cancer, according to Ritesh. However, the additional test results are awaited.
“She was admitted to the hospital last night after she complained of chest pain. Doctors are looking after her. They have discovered a tumour in her uterus. She had pain in her stomach too. Doctors have suspected that it might be cancer. Tests are being done. Doctors have proposed a surgery but they want to check first if it is cancer or not,” Ritesh told us.
Earlier today, Ritesh urged everyone to pray for Rakhi’s speedy recovery. “This is not a matter of joke. Rakhi has created an image for herself where people think it’s all drama. If Rakhi is critical, then she is critical. The story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf is often repeated with her. The same scene has happened here. Now, when she is actually critical, a section of people thinks she is creating controversy, while others think she is pretending. Those who truly know her, please wish her well, pray for her. She will recover soon,” he said.
For the unversed, prior to Adil Khan Durrani, Rakhi was married to Ritesh. The two participated in Bigg Boss 15 but parted ways soon after the show ended in February 2022. Announcing their separation, Rakhi had said at the time, “Dear fans and well-wishers, just wanted to say that Ritesh and I have decided to part ways. After the Bigg Boss show a lot happened and I was unaware of certain things which were out of my control. We have tried to work out our differences and tried to make things work but I think it’s best we both move on amicably and we both enjoy our lives separately.”

Earlier this month, Ritesh was spotted with Rakhi in Mumbai, which led to speculations about their possible patch-up. However, in his Instagram post, Ritesh clarified that he had no intentions of getting back with Rakhi, and also talked about her second husband, Adil Durrani, who was in jail after she accused him of domestic violence and mishandling of her funds.
