Developed by Air India’s teams in Silicon Valley and Gurugram, along with the in-flight services team, CE Plus offers various features:
- Personalized Service: Cabin executives can check guests’ preferences and special requests from past flights. They can even see if a guest has a fancy status with Air India’s loyalty program.
- Quick Maintenance Reporting: If something’s broken in the cabin, like a seat or the entertainment system, cabin executives can snap a pic and report it instantly. This helps get things fixed faster.
- Better Crew Coordination: The app helps cabin executives decide who does what on the plane, making everything run smoother. It also gives them access to important documents, saving time and improving service.
According to the official Press Release, Dr. Satya Ramaswamy, Air India’s Chief Digital and Technology Officer, says, “With a host of AI enabled features in the pipeline, the app is expected to become a key differentiator that defines the Air India in-flight experience for our guests.”
The CE Plus app will receive regular updates to further improve guest experience. Planned features include personalized surprises for loyalty program members, proactive service recovery based on past travel, multilingual menus, AI-powered recommendations for food and beverages, and a cabin view camera for quick issue detection.
