According to fresh reports, WhatsApp is now working on a feature to let users manage, create and view Channels even on linked devices. The feature was till now limited to primary devices only. This means that even when you are operating WhatsApp on a connected device, you can still get updates from your Channels and manage them.
According to a report in WA Beta Info, WhatsApp has begun rolling out the ability for users to create, view, and interact with channels from their linked devices. This development marks a significant shift from previous versions, where channel management was restricted to the primary device, causing a disjointed experience for users who switch between multiple devices. This limitation has been addressed in the latest updates available through the Google Play Store for Android and the TestFlight app for iOS.

As per a screenshot shared by the portal, some users are already testing this new capability, indicating a phased rollout. Previously, users could not manage their channels from linked devices, which restricted their ability to fully engage with the app’s features unless they were on their primary device. Now, with the update, WhatsApp ensures a unified experience, allowing users to interact with channels seamlessly, regardless of the device in use. The feature, as per the report, will be available for both iOS and Android users.
