Varanasi Traffic Advisory: Traffic restrictions were imposed and an advisory was issued in Varanasi ahead of PM Modi’s filing nomination in the city later in the day. PM Modi will file his nomination from the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. Before filing the papers, the PM will offer prayers at Dashwamedh Ghat and will take a dip in the River Ganga before boarding the cruise ship.
The Varanasi Police issued an advisory regarding PM Modi’s nomination and stated how long the roads will remain closed and where there will be diversion.

PM Modi’s Full Schedule in Varanasi Today
PM Modi will reach Dashashwamedh Ghat from BLW Guest House and then will reach Namoghat. From here, he will reach Kaal Bhaurav temple, known as Kotwal of Kashi. Then he will reach the court via Maidagin, Kabirchaura, Lahurabir, Teliabagh, Chowkaghat, Police Line intersection.

After filing nomination, PM Modi will attend the program at Rudraksh Convention Centre and will reach Rudraksh Convention Center via Bharat Seva Ashram, Sajan Tiraha, Maldahiya, Marimai, Teliabagh, Chowkaghat, Police Line Crossing, Golghar Kachari, Daitrabir Tihara, Bhojubir Tiraha, Gilat Bazaar, Tarna Overbridge, Harhua Overbridge, Babatpur Underpass Tiraha.

Varanasi Traffic Advisory: Timing, Restrictions
- The roads where PM Modi will hold road show will remain closed from 7 AM to 11 AM.
- As per the advisory issued by the traffic police, no type of vehicle will be allowed to go towards BLW from Bhikharipur Tiraha.
- The vehicles moving from Bhikharipur via BHU towards Ramnagar can go via Chitaipur intersection, Akhari bypass.
- No vehicle will be allowed from Chitaipur intersection towards Naria and Bhikharipur via Karaudi intersection.
- The entry of any type of big vehicle into the city from Akhari Bypass intersection will be prohibited.
- Chandpur intersection to Maduvadih and Lahartara intersection road will also remain closed.
- All vehicles coming on this route will be diverted towards Mudhaila Tiraha from where they can reach their destination.
- No vehicle of any kind will be allowed to go towards Kalbhairav from Visheshwarganj Tiraha.
- No type of vehicle will be allowed from Ramapur Square towards Godaulia Square. All vehicles will be diverted towards Gurubag intersection during the scheduled time.
- Vehicles will not be allowed to move from Sonpur Tihara towards Godaulia. All vehicles will be diverted towards Bhelupur intersection.
- No vehicle will be allowed to go towards Sonarpura from Bhelupur intersection. All vehicles will be diverted towards IP Vijaya.
- There will be a ban on vehicular movement from Aggarwal Tiraha towards Sonapura. All vehicles will be diverted towards Eighty or Broadway.
- No vehicles will be allowed to go towards Godaulia intersection from Maidagin intersection. All vehicles will be diverted towards Visheshwarganj.
