Lok Sabha Election 2024 Phase 4 Polling Underway: Check Documents Required For Voting, How To Find Your Polling Booth

In phase 4 of Lok Sabha polls, voting will take place in all 25 seats in Andhra Pradesh along with 17 seats in Telangana, 13 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 11 in Maharashtra, 8 in West Bengal, 8 in Madhya Pradesh, 5 in Bihar, 4 each in Jharkhand and Odisha as well as one seat in Jammu and Kashmir

Voting for the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 is underway in 96 constituencies across nine states and one union territory.

In phase 4 of Lok Sabha polls, voting will take place in all 25 seats in Andhra Pradesh and 17 constituencies in Telangana. The voting will also take place in 13 seats of Uttar Pradesh, 11 in Maharashtra, 8 in West Bengal, 8 in Madhya Pradesh, 5 in Bihar, 4 each in Jharkhand and Odisha as well as one seat in Jammu and Kashmir.

The polls, this year will be held in seven phases, the first one was conducted on April 19, the second on April 26 and the third on May 7. The fourth phase will be held on May 13, the fifth on May 20, the sixth on May 25 and the seventh on June 1. The counting of votes is scheduled for June 4.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR VOTING

A person whose name is on the electoral roll can vote in the elections while carrying one of the following documents-

  • Voter ID
  • Driving license
  • Passport
  • Aadhar card
  • PAN card
  • MNREGA job card
  • Smart card issued by RGI under NPR
  • Passbook with a photograph issued by a state bank or post office
  • Service identity cards with photographs issued to employees by central/state govt./PSU/public limited company
  • Pension document with photograph
  • Health insurance smart cards issued under the scheme of the Ministry of Labour
  • Official identity cards issued to MPs/MLAs/MLCs, etc.

You can check your name on the electoral roll by following steps-

  • Go to https: electoralsearch.eci.gov.in
  • Enter your state and select the preferred language
  • Fill in the details – name, surname, date of birth, gender
  • Select your district and assembly constituency
  • Enter the captcha code and click on search

You can follow the steps given below and find your polling booth:

  • Visit https: electoralsearch.eci.gov.in
  • You will see three ways (find below) to check your polling booth

SEARCH BY DETAILS

i) Enter your state and select the preferred language

ii) Fill in the details – name, surname, date of birth, gender

iii) Select your district and assembly constituency

iv) Enter the captcha code and click on search

b) Fill in your EPIC Number/Voter ID card details

  • Select state

  • Enter OTP which you have received on your mobile number
  • Enter the captcha code and click on search
