IRCTC News: Indian Railways Changes Train Timings, Adds Special Services To Meet Summer Rush

The Central Railway extends the run of Summer Special Trains from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar until June 28, 2024.

Summer Special Trains: With an aim to meet the increased passenger demand, the Indian Railways has modified the schedule of train no. 02877/02878 Ranchi Jn.-New Delhi-Ranchi Junction. According to the changes made by the Railways, the train will now halt at Govindpuri Railway Station instead of Kanpur Central.

Indian Railways Expands Summer Special Services:

Ahmedabad – SSS Hubballi Special:

  • The Western Railways has introduced the 07314/13 Ahmedabad – SSS Hubballi Special
  • The train will carter to passenger needs and facilitating travel demands.
  • Bookings for this service opened on May 09, 2024, at all PRS Counters and the IRCTC Website.

Central Railway Extension:

  • The Central Railway extends the run of Summer Special Trains from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar until June 28, 2024.
  • The train ensured seamless travel arrangements for passengers.

Dibrugarh-Secunderabad Special:

Services of special trains between Dibrugarh and Secunderabad have been extended by an additional month, catering to passenger convenience.

Panvel-Sawantwadi Road Services:

Central Railway introduces Summer Special Trains between Panvel and Sawantwadi Road, optimising travel opportunities for passengers.

One-Trip Special Train

Ahmedabad – Puri – Paldhi: Western Railway announces the operation of a one-trip special train between Ahmedabad, Puri, and Paldhi stations, addressing the seasonal surge in passenger traffic.

Ticket bookings are available via the IRCTC website or the nearest computerised reservation center.
