New Delhi: The Lok Sabha Elections 2024 are underway and this year, the General Elections are being conducted in a total of seven phases out of which three have been completed and the fourth phase is being conducted tomorrow, on Monday, May 13, 2024. For the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 4 Voting, a bank holiday has been declared in all the constituencies of states that are going for polling. Bank Holiday On Monday Due To LS Polls Phase 4 Voting
As mentioned earlier, due to the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 in 96 constituencies of nine states and union territory, a bank holiday has been announced in these states. The voting is being conducted in the following states – Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir.

Schools Closed On May 13 For Lok Sabha Elections 2024
As said before, in the constituencies going for voting tomorrow in the fourth phase, mostly schools have been converted into temporary polling booths and this is the reason why a local holiday has been declared in those constituencies.

Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 4: Dry Day On May 13
Selected states have also announced a Dry Day due to the voting during the fourth phase. These states include Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. The prohibition of alcohol has been announced to maintain law and order in the states and the ban shall be lifted once the voting process has been completed.
