Stock Market Holiday Alert: NSE, BSE to Remain Shut on THIS Day Due to Elections

Stock Market Holiday: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) will be closed on Monday, May 20, as a trading holiday in Mumbai due to the general elections, according to a notification issued by the exchanges. Furthermore, the NSE declared that the Nifty Midcap Select options contract’s maturity date will now be May 17, rather than May 20.

The multi-commodity exchange or MCX will be shut for the morning session between 9 AM to 5 PM but will remain open for the evening session between 5:00pm – 11:30 /11:55pm.
