Rashmika Mandanna is once again in the headlines. After impressing the audience with her performance in Animal, Rashmika is all set to create a buzz on the big screen with her upcoming film Sikandar. The cherry on top would be that Rashmika will be working opposite Salman Khan and the action thriller is helmed by AR Murugadoss. This will be the first time that Rashmika will be paired up with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and the director, and producer Sajid Nadiadwala.

Taking to X (Formerly known as Twitter), the official account of Nadiadwala, shared the news of onboarding Rahsmika Mandanna opposite Salman Khan. Sharing the news, the official handle of Nadiadwala wrote, “Welcoming the fabulous @iamRashmika to star opposite SalmanKhan in #Sikandar! Can’t wait for their on-screen magic to unfold on EID 2025! #SajidNadiadwala’s #Sikandar. Directed by ARMurugadoss. Releasing in cinemas EID 2025.”

About Sikandar
On Eid, Salman Khan announced his upcoming film Sikandar. The movie will be helmed by AR Murugados. Revealing the film’s title on Instagram, Salman posted, “Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar Milo (Watch Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan on this Eid, next Eid, meet Sikandar). Wish u all, Eid Mubarak!”

The movie is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is helmed by AR Murugadoss. Further, the film will be released on Eid 2025. AR Murugadoss is a famous director, and is known for his film Ghajini, which was also his Hindi debut. The movie turned out to be a massive hit and grossed Rs 100 crore at the box office domestically. Later, the director also helmed Akshay Kumar’s film, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty. Meanwhile, coming to Salman Khan’s work front, the actor was last seen in Tiger 3 Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles.
