Arshad Warsi, during a chat with Bombay Times, was asked whether the third film of the Rajkumar Hirani’s Munna Bhai franchise is being made. The actor said, “Vidhu Vinod Chopra wants to make it. Rajkumar Hirani also wants it to be made and Sanjay Bhai also wants to do it and I will do it too. But the film is not being made yet.”

“Raju has three great scripts for the sequel. Some things are missing here and there. I don’t think that’s happening. Now a lot of time has passed. I told Raju that whatever begins, also has an end. Looks like we left the Munna Bhai film franchise on interval. Everyone is impatient because it is not over yet. Munna Bhai series needs to end,’ added Arshad.

Meanwhile, Arshad Warsi has finally started shooting for Jolly LLB 3 with Akshay Kumar. On Thursday, the former took to his Instagram handle and dropped a fun video from the sets of the film. In the clip, Akshay and Arshad were seen dressed in black robes. It began with Arshad warning everyone to beware of “Jagdish Tyagi aka Jolly BA LLB Duplicate”. Following this, Akshay was seen introducing himself as the “original” Jolly. The video ended with a glimpse of Saurabh Shukla. The first Jolly LLB film was released in 2013. Its sequel hit theatres in 2017. The first film featured Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla in the lead roles. In the sequel, Akshay Kumar replaced Arshad Warsi. He was also joined by Huma Qureshi.
