Isuzu has equipped the manual transmission versions of the V-Cross with new safety features such as Traction Control System (TCS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), and Hill Start Assist (HSA). TCS ensures that the tyre maintains grip on the road, and automatically activates brakes if it detects any slippage. The ESC stabilizes the vehicle during cornering and prevents skidding while braking. HDC is an active assistance feature that helps the vehicle cruise downhill from 4 kmph to 30 kmph, and uses both traction control and anti-lock braking system to reduce the chances of slip-ups. The Hill Start Assist is a helpful feature that prevents the vehicle from rolling back on an incline.
