Delhi’s Vada Pav girl, Chandrika Gera Dixit, gained fame through viral videos showcasing her journey as an entrepreneur. However, with her rise in popularity, Dixit has encountered significant challenges. A video capturing one of these challenges has circulated widely on the internet, depicting a confrontation between Dixit, her mother, and a crowd in broad daylight.
In the viral footage, Dixit can be seen exchanging words with the crowd, while many individuals record the incident on their phones. Her mother, seated on an electric scooter, joins in, vocally supporting Dixit and confronting those filming the confrontation.
“Jisne tereko bheja hai uski video bana” (Make a video of the one who sent you),” she exclaimed, attempting to navigate through the crowd. Amidst the commotion, she also exchanges heated words with the crowd.

The situation escalates further in the video, as Dixit becomes involved in a physical altercation with another woman. Both parties exchange shouts and blows, while onlookers record the brawl. However, some men intervene and separate the women, but Dixit continues to express anger as the video ends.
Since its sharing, the video has elicited mixed reactions. Some commenters criticised Dixit, with one saying, “You can export Mumbai’s street food(vada pav) to other places, but you can’t export Mumbai’s culture and decency.” Another joined, “Life has become live big boss thanks to chapri youtubers.”

Others noted her frequent involvement in controversies, with one person questioning, “Other than her Rs50/- per vada pao, why is this female daily on my X feed about something or the other?” “Aaye din yeh didi new kalesh me pad hi jati hai. Jaldi famous hona bhi sabhi ko pachta nahi hai,” said another.
Meanwhile, it remains unconfirmed when and where the incident occurred, and no reports state if any legal action was taken against anyone involved in the viral video.
