Polling for the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections, covering 13 states and 89 constituencies, will begin on 7 am on April 26.
The polls, this year will be held in seven phases, the first phase was conducted on April 19 and the second phase is scheduled for. April 26. The next phases will be followed by the third on May 7, fourth on May 13, fifth on May 20, sixth on May 25 and seventh on June 1. The counting of votes is scheduled for June 4.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR VOTING
A person whose name is on the electoral roll can vote in the elections.
- Voter ID
- Driving license
- Passport
- Aadhar card
- PAN card
- MNREGA job card
- Smart card issued by RGI under NPR
- Passbook with a photograph issued by a state bank or post office
- Service identity cards with photographs issued to employees by central/state
- govt./PSU/public limited company
- Pension document with photograph
- Health insurance smart cards issued under the scheme of the Ministry of Labour
- Official identity cards issued to MPs/MLAs/MLCs, etc.
