A patent brand of Indigo, InterGlobe Enterprises soon to start air taxi service in India. It has been reported that the service likely to kickstart somewhere in 2026, allowing the passengers to have a seamless travel experience between Delhi’s Connaught Place and Haryana’s Gurgaon route.

1 Billion Dollars Investement
It has been reported the US-based Archer Aviation will supply 200 electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft in the country and will invest 1 billion dollars in the segment. Reports suggested that these aircraft will be powered by a battery setup, which will get fully charged under a period between 30-40 minutes.

Air Taxi Trip Cost
The trip via air taxi is expected to cost somewhere around Rs 2,000-Rs 3,000, and will take only 7 minutes to reach the destination. The taxi will be able to provide service to four passengers on the go. When it comes to the by-road, the same trim will take 90 minutes of travel time, covering a maximum distance between 27 km to 30 km. The service will cost Rs 1500.
