Do you have an ICICI Bank account? There’s an update for you. The bank has revised its service charges for various savings account services, including cheque book issuance, IMPS transactions, ECS/NACH Debit Returns, stop payment charges, and more.
These adjustments will take effect from May 1, 2024, as per an ET report, citing ICICI Bank.

ICICI Bank: List of revised charges for different savings account services
– Debit Card Annual Fees: Rs. 200 per year; Rs. 99 per year for Gramin locations.
– Cheque Books: Free for the first 25 leaves per year; Rs. 4 per leaf thereafter.
– Demand Draft (DD) / Pay Order (PO) Cancellation / Duplicate / Revalidation: Rs. 100 per instance.
Outward IMPS Transactions:
– Up to Rs. 1,000: Rs. 2.50 per transaction.
– Above Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 25,000: Rs. 5 per transaction.
– Above Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 5 lakhs: Rs. 15 per transaction.
– Account Closure: No charges.

– Debit Card PIN Regeneration Charges: No charges.
– Debit Card Hotlisting: No charges.
– Balance Certificate, Interest Certificate: No charges.
– Retrieval of Old Transactional Documents / Enquiries Related to Old Records: No charges.
– Signature Attestation: Rs. 100 per application/letter.
– Address Confirmation: No charges.
– ECS / NACH Debit Returns: Rs. 500 per instance for financial reasons. Maximum recovery will be done for 3 instances per month for the same mandate.
– National Automated Clearing House (NACH) Mandate: One-time mandate authorization charges (physical): No charges.
– Lien Marking and Unmarking of Savings Account: No charges.
– Reissue of Internet User ID or Password (Branch or non-IVR Customer Care): No charges.
– Address Change Request at Branches: No charges.
– Stop Payment Charges: Rs. 100 per particular cheque (Free through customer care IVR & Net banking).

Other charges
ICICI Bank will levy a charge of Rs. 50 per transaction for cash deposits made in Cash Acceptor/Recycler machines during bank holidays and between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. on working days.
The charges would apply if the total cash deposited in these machines during bank holidays and between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. on working days exceeds Rs. 10,000 per month, whether in a single transaction or multiple transactions.
However, Senior Citizens, Basic Savings Bank Account holders, Jan Dhan Account holders, incapacitated and visually impaired persons, Student Account holders, or any other accounts identified by ICICI Bank will be exempt from these charges.
