Rajasthan Royals have equalled their previously held record of the highest sucessful score chased down in IPL history following the win against KKR in IPL 2024.
Rajasthan Royals’ Jos Buttler scored yet another century for the ages as he sealed an epic run-chase over the Kolkata Knight Riders in their home ground at the Eden Gardens. The visitors equalled the record, which was already held by RR, of chasing the highest total in IPL history thanks to the century by the England skipper to secure the win and maintain the top spot in IPL 2024.
The Royals continue to have a fantastic track record of chasing down big totals. The win against KKR meant that they equalled the record held when RR chased down 224 against the Kings XI Punjab (now renamed to Punjab Kings).
Leading the chase tonight, Jos Buttler played the lead role to script an epic victory. He struggled to find his rhythm through the innings but found his touch through the latter stages of the innings.
