Truecaller, a popular spam blocker and caller ID identification application based in Sweden has finally come up with the new ‘Truecaller for Web’ service.

The new service will allow users to search unknown numbers and even access their Truecaller SMS on their web browser. With this, the company aims to offer more convenience and security.
However, the updated Truecaller for Web is limited to Android users. The company stated that the new feature is compatible with all web browsers on both Mac and Windows machines. Users will also have access to see, send, and receive SMS messages as well as Truecaller Chat. Please take note that in order to access all the information, users will need to link with the numbers.
The online interface will be able to display the user’s business messages, instant messages (IM), and SMS messages in an intuitive user interface after the users link their numbers.

Users can even prioritise communications, transfer media assets up to 100 MB in size, and enter messages using their keyboards.
Additionally, users will receive real-time call alert notifications for incoming calls and messages, keeping them connected and updated on all developments constantly.
“Truecaller does not access or read any messages, just like on the mobile app, and the connection between the desktop client and the app is always secured,” said Rishit Jhunjhunwala, Chief Product Officer and Managing Director of Truecaller’s India.
