Google Pixel 8a launch is expected at the I/O 2024 in May this year and now we also have a clue of how the Pixel 8a could be priced for buyers.
Google Pixel 8a smartphone launch is expected sometime next month and now we might also know how much the new Pixel a-series phone might cost in the market. With Google I/O 2024 dates already confirmed for mid-May this year, we can expect to hear more from the company about the possible Pixel 8a launch at the keynote in over a month’s time. The previous Pixel a-series models have launched at the event over the years, and we don’t see why Google cannot do it once again.

GOOGLE PIXEL 8A PRICE IN INDIA LEAKED: WHAT WE KNOW
Google Pixel 8a launch has not been confirmed but new leaks suggest the Pixel 8a price could be around $500-$550 (Rs 44,000 approx) this year. Google Pixel 7a launched for around Rs 43,000 in the Indian market last year and we are hoping Google keeps the pricing at a similar range for the Pixel 8a model as well. Reports have suggested Google is starting to make Pixel 8 series in India this year, so it is likely to help the brand offset the duty and taxes for importing devices.
Because, going anything above Rs 45,000 for the Pixel a-series phone will make it a hard-sell for buyers, especially in a competitive market like India where people have many options in the range.
GOOGLE PIXEL 8A DESIGN, FEATURES AND MORE WE EXPECT
While Google is yet to confirm the official Pixel 8a launch date, we have got more details about the upcoming mid-range Pixel phone, courtesy, Kamila Wojciechowska recently. The tipster claims the Pixel 8a will feature a 120Hz refresh rate screen with a 1,400 nits of peak brightness on offer. However, the report here says the Pixel 8a might not see big hardware upgrades, especially the cameras on the upcoming Pixel model.
Pixel 8a will be using the Tensor G3 chipset, which also powers the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro models and is far better than the Tensor G2 when it comes to power management.
In terms of the design, we might see a more rounded approach with the Pixel 8a which should give it a better in-hand feel and grip. Google is unlikely to bump up the screen size beyond 6.1-inch once again, but we could see a 256GB storage variant this year, which will definitely work for many of you. We’re waiting for Google to confirm the Pixel 8a launch details which should happen anytime now.
