Xiaomi has launched the Civi 4 Pro, the first smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Now, the Civi phones have historically been a China-exclusive, but online reports suggest Xiaomi may bring the Civi 4 Pro to India either as is, or under some other name. The underlying chip isn’t the only highlight. The Civi 4 Pro also has Leica cameras to go along, which seems to be a first for Xiaomi as far as we can remember.

The Civi 4 Pro has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can peak 3,000 nits, Xiaomi says, and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. There are two 32-megapixel selfie cameras in this phone — wide and ultrawide. On the back, there are three cameras, 50-megapixel wide, 50-megapixel 2x telephoto, and 12-megapixel ultrawide.

Under the hood, the phone has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Running the show is Android 14-based HyperOS. Powering the package is a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro starts at CNY 2,999 in China with general availability pegged for March 26. There is no official word on it and when it will come to India. Watch this space for more updates.
