Bank Holidays in April 2024: During the month of April, banks are scheduled to remain closed for a total of 14 days due to both national and regional holidays.

Customers should schedule their bank appointemtns and errands in April according to the full holiday list given below. These holidays are finalised based on festivals specific for regions, in addition to general weekend holidays. The general holidays are applicable for all banks across the country. The bank holidays include festivals, national holidays, weekend holidays such as second and fourth Saturdays, and all Sundays.
In April, bank employees will also have the benefit of a long weekend in certain regions due to the holidays around the Baisakhi weekend.

The offline bank branches will be closed on these holidays, however, the digital services such as mobile banking, UPI, and internet banking would continue to be operational undisrupted and be accessible to customers across India. Any additional changes in the bank schedule would be informed to the customers before hand.
