7th Pay Commission: These States Hikes DA Before Holi; Check List

7th Pay Commission:  As a Holi gift to employees, not only the central government, but various state governments announced a hike in the dearness allowance after the central government hiked the DA by 4 percent.

Below is the list of state governments where DA got increased before Holi.

The central government recently hiked the subsidy from 46 percent to 50 percent. Apart from salary and allowances, employees also get 2 months of DA arrears.

Chhattisgarh

DA of Chhattisgarh government employees increased by 4%. Employees and pensioners will benefit. Here the government has increased the DA by 4 percent.

Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has increased the drought allowance of state government employees by 4%. Now DA will be 46%. DA is payable from 1st July last year. The DA dues from July 1, 2023, to February 29, 2024, will be paid in three equal installments in July, August, and September this year, he said.

Haryana

The Haryana Government has increased the dearness allowance for its employees and pensioners. The state government has increased the subsidy by 4 percent. Now it has increased from 46 percent to 50 percent. Discount applicable from January 1, 2024. DA and arrears will be available in March salary.

Bihar

In a cabinet meeting chaired by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the allowance was hiked by 4 percent. DA increased from 46% to 50%. This will benefit Bihar employees and pensioners.
