PM Kisan 17th Installment: Last Month on February 28 Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 16th installment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Out of the total Rs 6,000 annual amount, the PM transferred this installment of Rs 2,000 each to the accounts of over 9 crore farmers.
The amount released by Prime Minister Modi under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is more than Rs 21 thousand crore, which was transferred to the accounts of 9,01,67,496 farmers.

E-KYC is Mandatory
According to the PM Kisan website, eKYC is mandatory for PMKISAN registered eligible farmers. An OTP-based eKYC is available on the PMKisan portal. Farmers can also approach nearby CSC centers for biometric-based eKYC.
17th installment of PM Kisan Samman?
As per the scheme schedule, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi installments are released once every four months. The 15th installment was released in November last year while the 16th installment was released in February this year.
Accordingly, the 17th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan 17th Installment) can be released in June 2024. However, it may get delayed due to Lok Sabha elections.

How to register for PM Kisan Yojana?
– Visit the website pmkisan.gov.in.
– Click on the option named Farmers Corner.
– Click on the ‘New Farmer Registration’ option.
– Next Select Rural Farmer Registration or Urban Farmer Registration.
– Enter your Aadhaar number, and mobile number, select your state, and click on ‘Get OTP’.
– Fill out the OTP and proceed with registration.
– Enter other information like state, district, bank details and personal details.
– Click on ‘Submit’ to provide proof of authenticity of Aadhar Card.
– Once your Aadhaar card authentication is successful, share your land information and click on Save after uploading your supporting documents.

– Visit the official website of PM-Kisan
– Next, choose the eKYC option
– First Enter your Aadhaar Number then submit it by filling in Captcha
– Enter Aadhaar linked mobile number
– Next, click on Get OTP, and Submit it
