Jio and Airtel are offering a special Netflix plan for users who need OTT benefits with longer validity

Looking for a free Netflix subscription bundled with your mobile recharge? Unfortunately, telecom operators like Jio and Airtel have removed free Netflix subscriptions from most of their plans. However, there’s still some good news. Both Jio and Airtel offer one plan each under their prepaid listing that includes Netflix’s Basic plan along with 84 days long validity. Both these plans are specifically designed for users who want Netflix access and come with extended validity, mobile data, and calling benefits.

Let’s take a detailed look at the Jio and Airtel prepaid plans which offer free Netflix subscription.

Jio Rs 1099 plan details

This Jio prepaid plan of Rs 1099 comes with a validity of 84 days. Under this plan, you will get a total of 168GB of data, which translates to 2GB of high-speed data per day. After you use up the daily high-speed data quota, you will still be able to access unlimited data at a slower speed of 64 Kbps. This plan also includes unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS messages per day and 5G access in available areas.

But the best part is this plan comes bundled with a Netflix Mobile subscription. So you can enjoy unlimited movies and TV shows on your smartphone. This is also good for users who are now watching Netflix on their own account as Netflix is restricting users from sharing passwords outside the household. On top of that, you will also get subscriptions to JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud for additional entertainment options.

Jio vs Airtel plan with free Netflix

Both plans have their own benefits. However, if you have both Jio and Airtel SIM cards, you can choose the recharge plans according to your priority. Both Jio’s Rs 1099 and Airtel’s Rs 1499 plans offer 84 days of validity with unlimited voice calls and Netflix subscriptions. However, Jio provides 2GB of daily data while Airtel offers 3GB. Jio’s plan is cheaper but with less daily data. However, it includes a Netflix Mobile subscription allowing you to watch on only one mobile or tablet device at a time, whereas Airtel provides Netflix Basic which extends to one device, whether it be a phone, tablet, computer, or smart TV.

Meanwhile, if you are not particularly keen on getting Netflix and instead prefer other OTT benefits, both Jio and Airtel offer other prepaid mobile plans with benefits from OTT platforms such as Disney+ Hotstar, Prime, and more.
