The Western Himalayan Region is expected to experience light to moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall and snowfall next week, from March 11-14.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its latest weather forecast, issued on Saturday (March 9), said that light to moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall or snowfall is likely over Western Himalayan Region from 11-14 March. Additionally, the meteorological department has also predicted isolated to scattered rainfall over adjoining plains from 12-14 March.

According to IMD’s forecast, hot and humid conditions are expected to persist over the southern part of the country, including in Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Kerala, for the next two days.
Hot and humid weather is expected to prevail over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Kerala for the next few days. Day temperatures are likely to be above normal by 2-3°C in these regions.
Delhi weather forecast
According to RWFC Delhi, partly cloudy skies is likely to prevail over the national capital today, while the minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to settle at around 11 and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively.

IMD rainfall and snowfall alert
The Western Himalayan Region is expected to experience light to moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall and snowfall next week, from March 11-14. Additionally, IMD has forecasted isolated to scattered rainfall over adjoining plains on March 13.
Furthermore, in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Himachal Pradesh region, the weather department has predicted isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall and snowfall from March 10-12 and on March 14. However, widespread light to moderate rainfall and snowfall is anticipated on March 13, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms and lightning on March 12-13.

Uttarakhand is expected to see isolated light to moderate rainfall and snowfall on March 11-12, followed by scattered to fairly widespread activity on March 13-14. Isolated thunderstorms and lightning are also predicted on March 13.
Punjab is likely to experience isolated to scattered rainfall from March 11-14, with isolated thunderstorms and lightning on March 11-13. Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan are forecasted to have isolated rainfall on March 13, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in Punjab on March 11 and in Haryana on March 13.
Arunachal Pradesh will witness isolated light rainfall and snowfall from March 10-13, followed by scattered light rainfall and snowfall on March 14-15. Assam, Meghalaya, and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are expected to experience isolated light rainfall on March 13-14.
Kerala, Mahe, and north Coastal Andhra Pradesh will see isolated rainfall today.
