In a move that could shake up how enterprises adopt and utilise artificial intelligence, generative AI solutions provider Ema has announced both a $25 million funding round and the launch of a novel “universal AI employee.”

The funding came from an impressive roster of investors including Accel, Section 32, Prosus Ventures, Wipro Ventures, Venture Highway, AME Cloud Ventures, Frontier Ventures, Maum Group, and Firebolt Ventures. It will fuel Ema’s mission to transform workplaces through collaborative human-AI interaction.
But the real headliner is Ema’s AI employee offering. Designed to emulate the versatile capabilities of human workers, these artificial employees can engage in contextual conversations, provide reasoned decision-making, and team up with people on complex cross-domain projects.
According to Ema, their AI colleagues enhance productivity while ensuring a high level of trust and accuracy. Built as an integrated platform compatible with hundreds of enterprise apps, they aim to ease normally difficult tech adoption and onboarding processes.

Under the hood, Ema’s Generative Workflow Engine combines over 30 large language models with their own domain-specific models using proprietary technology. This patent-pending approach allegedly solves issues around accuracy, hallucinations, and data protection that have plagued some generative AI.
Enterprises are already tapping into Ema’s two products – the Generative Workflow Engine and EmaFusion – for applications like customer service, technical support, employee productivity tools, and more.
With influxes of generative AI into workplaces seeming inevitable, Ema is positioning itself as a vanguard for secure, collaborative AI adoption across companies and industries.
