The initial public offering (IPO) of Juniper Hotels saw a lukewarm response as its shares made a weak debut on the stock exchanges today.

Listed on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Juniper Hotels’ share price opened at Rs 365 per share on NSE and Rs 361.20 per share on BSE. This marked a modest increase of 1.39 per cent and 0.33 per cent, respectively, compared to the issue price of Rs 360.

Prior to its debut, market experts had predicted that Juniper Hotels’ share price might range between Rs 345 to Rs 370.
The subscription status of Juniper Hotels IPO on the third day stood at 2.08 times, according to data from the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The retail portion of the IPO was booked 1.28 times, while Non-Institutional Investors (NII) portion saw a subscription rate of 85%. Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) portion, on the other hand, was subscribed 2.96 times.
