Inexperienced Batting Line-up: In the absence of veterans like Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and Kohli, the side lacks the experience. Had Kohli been there, the middle-order would have looked more stable and that would have helped against a formidable side like England.
Problems Tackling Spin: You need quality batters to counter the spin Indian pitches offer and that is where the side would be missing the services of Kohli. The former India captain has a lot of experience of playing spin on Indian pitches and in this series, that could have made all the difference.
A report suggests that Kohli could be back for the fifth and final Test at Dharamshala, but again, there is no confirmation on that. The Rajkot Test starts from February 15.
