Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 makers have roped in Madhuri Dixit to star alongside Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan.
Madhuri Dixit will be joining Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, a new report has claimed. On Monday evening, Vidya and Kartik surprised everyone by revealing that they are teaming up for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. A new report has now claimed that Madhuri will also be seen in the film, making her debut in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa universe. Not only has her casting been revealed, the report also claimed that Madhuri is playing the role of a ghost in the film.
A source told Mid-Day, “The team felt another spirit would add to the narrative. So, it will be Rooh Baba versus the two ghosts played by Madhuri and Vidya. By bringing the two leading ladies together for the first time on screen, the makers have played a trump card.” The report added that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will go on floors next month. The report also claimed that Sara Ali Khan is being considered as the female lead of the film.
Reacting to the claims, the source said, “The discussions are at a nascent stage. Nothing is confirmed yet.”
Meanwhile, director Anees Bazmee has confirmed Akshay Kumar will not be a part of the film. Speaking with Zoom, the filmmaker said, “No, Akshay is not a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. I am dying to work with him, but unfortunately, I have not been able to script a film where we could work together. In future, certainly yes.” He mentioned that the shoot for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is scheduled for March 10, but Anees also noted that he hasn’t ‘confirmed the exact date yet’.
