Starting with the price, the OnePlus 12R has been aggressively priced and will set you back Rs 39,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant. The 12GB + 256GB model is also available for Rs 45,999. As for availability, the device will be available on Amazon India and on its official website starting at 12 noon on February 6.
There are also multiple offers that you can avail of to bring the price down even further, sweetening the deal. If you have an ICICI Bank or OneCard credit card, you can get an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on Amazon, bringing the net effective price to Rs 38,999 and Rs 44,999, respectively, for both models. OnePlus 12R: How Different Is It From OnePlus 12?
While the OnePlus 12 comes with the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the OnePlus 12R is no slouch either with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which also powered the OnePlus 11 last year.
As for RAM options, the OnePlus 12R is available in 8GB and 16GB options, whereas the OnePlus 12 provides a choice between 12GB and 16GB.
Talking about the battery capacity, the OnePlus 12R features a larger 5,500mAh battery compared to the OnePlus 12’s 5,400mAh unit. Both phones support fast charging at 100W, but the OnePlus 12 also offers 50W AIRVOOC fast wireless charging.
In terms of display, the OnePlus 12R gets a 6.78-inch 1.5K panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, while the OnePlus 12 features a 6.82-inch QHD display.
Finally, coming to the optics, the OnePlus 12R features a dual+macro camera setup with its 50MP IMX 890 sensor and a secondary ultra-wide lens. In contrast, the OnePlus 12 has a triple camera system with the primary 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor.
