OnePlus 12R key specifications
Design: In terms of design, the OnePlus 12R resembles its predecessors. However, it has subtle yet striking design changes. The edges of the new OnePlus 12R are curvier and the camera has a bigger camera dial than the 11R. The back has a slick finish with the camera island topped with a glass cover. The new OnePlus 12R comes in two colours — Cool-Blue and Iron-Gray.

Display: On the front the new OnePlus 12R features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 2780 x 1264 pixels and 19.8:9 aspect ratio. The phone offers upto 120HZ refresh with 4500 nits peak brightness. For protection the new 12R display is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
Processors: The new OnePlus 12R is powered by Snapdragon’s 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 16GB RAM.
Camera: For photos and videos, the OnePlus 12R features a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel Ultra-Wide camera, and a 2-megapixel sensor for Macro photos. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel camera for capturing selfies and making video calls.

Battery: Under the hood, the new OnePlus 12R packs a 5,500mAh battery, that supports 100W fast wired charging which is included in the box.

Live Lock: OnePlus 12R comes with a new Live Lock feature that allows users to select up to six applications to stay active and locked in the background for up to 72 hours, even when they are minimised. This means that chosen apps remain in a state of readiness, enabling quick access and seamless multitasking.
Enhanced camera: The OnePlus 12R features a Sony IMX355 ultra-wide camera sensor on the back, which can capture 112 degrees of scenic beauty. It also has a macro camera for taking close-up shots. The main rear camera has tone mapping control, a unique HDR algorithm that enhances the details of light, dark and gray shades in the photos and ensures they are processed flawlessly.
On the front the OnePlus 12R has a 16 megapixel front-facing camera that enables lively video calls and stunning selfies.
Cryo-Velocity cooling system: The OnePlus 12 series also comes with a Cryo-Velocity cooling system that ensures great performance and prevents overheating. It is the first OnePlus device to have this advanced cooling system, which consists of two vapour chambers of different sizes. The smaller chamber takes heat from the source, such as the chipset, and spreads it evenly. The larger chamber then cools down the heat quickly and turns it into liquid.
Software: The OnePlus 12R runs on OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14. The company is also offering four years of software updates.

OnePlus 12R price and availability
The OnePlus 12R comes in two storage options – 8GB of RAM +128GB of storage or 16GB of RAM +256GB of storage. The 128 GB variant costs Rs 39,999 while the 256 GB variant will cost Rs 45,999. The phone will be sold from Feb 6, 2024 on Amazon.in, OnePlus.in and other partner stores in the country.
