Delhi Weather Update: Delhi woke up to chilly day. Severe cold wave conditions in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, are expected to persist for the next few days.
New Delhi: Severe cold wave conditions continue to haunt North India along with dense fog for the past several days. Dense fog condition has also lowered the visibility and disrupted rail and air traffic in the national capital. since December 29, the daytime temperatures have plunged below normal by 5-8 degrees Celsius, resulting in a prolonged cold spell. There was a little respite from chilly winds on January 7 and 8, because of the passing western disturbance. However, the relief was short-lived as chilly winds returned from January 9.
