Kejriwal, along with Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann and MPs Raghav Chadha and Sandeep Pathak will be in Goa from January 18 till January 20
Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener, Arvind Kejriwal, is set to leave for a three-day visit to Goa on Thursday (January 18), the same day he has been asked to present himself for questioning by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the Delhi excise case.
Kejriwal, along with Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann and MPs Raghav Chadha and Sandeep Pathak will be in the coastal state from January 18 till January 20, according to AAP’s Goa chief Amit Palekar.
As per Palekar, the senior AAP leaders will meet the party’s Goa MLAs and other state functionaries and volunteers during their visit, which comes ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

AAP has two MLAs in the Goa assembly – Venzy Viegas (Benaulim) and Cruz Silva (Velim).
Interestingly, Kejriwal, who had skipped three summons by ED earlier, has been asked by the probe agency to before it on January 18 for questioning in the money laundering probe related to irregularities in the Delhi excise policy 2021-22.
In his response to the ED’s third summons, which the Delhi CM termed as “illegal”, Kejriwal said he was ready to cooperate but ED’s intention was to arrest him and stop him from election campaigning.

ED has said it wants to question the Delhi Chief Minister on the formulation of policy, meetings held before it was finalised, and allegations of bribery.
However, Kejriwal’s repeated disregard of the summons has been reportedly scuttling the agency’s probe into the case.
In the past, ED has claimed that bribes generated in the excise policy were used to fund the campaign for the Goa assembly elections.
