Deepika Padukone has joined the chorus of praises for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s directorial 12th Fail.
The biographical drama film 12th Fail, starring Vikrant Massey and directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, has emerged as a major success at the box office. It has garnered acclaim from notable figures in Bollywood for its captivating storyline and commendable performances. Deepika Padukone has recently added her voice to the chorus of appreciation, following a positive review shared by Alia Bhatt.

Congratulations to the entire cast and crew.” Alia Bhatt had earlier expressed her admiration for the film’s lead actors, Vikrant Massey, Medha Shankar, and Anant V Joshi. She lauded their performances and described the film as “one of the most beautiful” she had seen in a while.

The film was initially released on the big screens on October 27, 2023. However, it didn’t draw large audiences, but its quality became evident once it premiered on OTT platforms. 12th Fail narrates the inspiring life story of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who triumphed over extreme poverty to achieve the remarkable feat of becoming an Indian Police Service officer. Alongside Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankar, the film features stellar performances by Anantvijay Joshi, Anshumaan Pushkar, Geeta Agrawal Sharma, Sarita Joshi, and Priyanshu Chatterjee in pivotal roles.
On the professional front, Vikrant Massey has an exciting lineup of projects in his pipeline. He is set to appear in director Devang Bhavsar’s upcoming comedy thriller film Blackout with Mouni Roy and Sunil Grover.
