Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly purchased a 10,000 square feet land for a whopping Rs 14.5 crores in Ayodhya.
Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan recently bought a plot of land for a home in Ayodhya. Reportedly, the superstar has acquired a property in The Sarayu, a 7-star mixed-use enclave in Ayodhya, by Mumbai-based developer The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL).

According to a report in Hindustan Times, while the builders have kept other details about it confidential, real estate industry sources claim that the property purchased by Big B is spread over 10,000 square feet and has a value of Rs 14.5 crores.
This news comes just days before the formal inauguration of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. It is all set to take place on January 22 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Sarayu is spread over 51 acres. Speaking about the property investment, Bachchan shared with the portal, “I am looking forward to embark on this journey with The House of Abhinandan Lodha for The Sarayu in Ayodhya, a city that holds a special place in my heart. The timeless spirituality and cultural richness of Ayodhya have forged an emotional connection that transcends geographical boundaries. The property is located about 15 minutes away from the Ram Temple and 30 minutes away from the Ayodhya International Airport. Abhinandan Lodha, chairman of HoABL, said, “His investment in our Ayodhya project reflects confidence in the city’s economic potential and a deep appreciation for its spiritual heritage.” He added that Big B’s association would turn the project into ‘a symbol of Ayodhya’s global spiritual significance.

Coming back to the Ram Mandir, apart from Big B and Narendra Modi, the trust’s list of 3,000 VVIPs includes prominent names such as UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, actress Kangana Ranaut, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, cricketer Virat Kohli, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, yoga guru Ramdev, and industrialists Mukesh Ambai, Ratan Tata, and Gautam Adani.
