Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024: Ashnisha Industries has signed an initial pact with the Gujarat government to set up renewable energy (RE) projects in the state.

According to an exchange filing, the company will set up a solar power plant with a proposed investment of Rs 60 Crore. The anticipated commencement year for this project is the year 2025.
The agreement, between the company and the Commissioner of Municipalities Administration, Government of Gujarat, was signed during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024.

As part of the MoU, the state government will support the company in obtaining the necessary permissions, registrations, approvals and clearances from the departments concerned, the statement said.
Earlier, the company had signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) for the acquisition of land situated in Surendranagar District to establish a solar power plant with a capacity of 3MW.

Ashnisha Industries is in the business of manufacturing and supplying steel and steel alloys.
