Kanya Sumangala Yojana: To empower daughters economically and socially, union governments and governments in respective states run many schemes.Kanya Sumangala Yojana is one of them run by Uttar Pradesh government. Earlier Rs 15,000 was provided in this scheme, now eligible daughters get Rs 25,000.
UP government provides financial assistance for the education of daughters who come from the economically weaker section. To avail the benefits of Kanya Sumangala Yojana, you will have to visit the official website sky.up.gov.in. Under the scheme, eligible daughters get the total sum in instalments right from birth to completion of their graduation.
Eligibility for kanya Sumangla Yojna
To avail the benefit of this scheme one must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh. He must have a permanent residence certificate. A ration card, Aadhar card, Voter ID card, electricity or telephone bill will be valid as a residence certificate. The maximum income of the family should not exceed Rs 3 lakh. A maximum of 2 daughters in the family can get the benefit of the scheme. Daughters, who were born on or after April 1, 2019.

Visit the official website sky.up.gov.in.
– Click on Citizen Service Portal on its home page.
– You will have a form in front of you
– Fill in the details like name, address, mobile number, parents’ name, and Aadhaar number.
– Click on the submit button.

– An OTP will be sent to the given mobile number. Next, Enter the OTP.
– Your application has been completed.
– You will get a User ID and password. Log in again, upload your documents and submit.
