Natarajan Sundar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD and CEO) of the National Asset Reconstruction Company Limited (NARCL), has resigned from his post, sources informed CNBC-TV18. Sundar assumed the role in May 2022 for a two-year term .

This resignation comes as the second high-profile departure from the top management of NARCL, following Karnam Sekar’s resignation as Chairman back in September 2023.
In light of this exit, P Santhosh, currently serving as the Chief General Manager (CGM) of Canara Bank, has been appointed on deputation to helm NARCL as its interim MD & CEO.

Santhosh brings a wealth of experience from Canara Bank and is expected to steer NARCL during this transitional phase.
