This month is full of smartphone launches and various smartphone makers are offering products at impressive prices. In the midrange segment, Poco is gearing up for the launch of three new smartphones- the Poco X6, Poco X6 Pro, and Poco M6 Pro. However, in India, only the Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro are confirmed to launch on January 11.

Ahead of the launch, details about the phones’ processors have started doing rounds online. While the Poco X6 Pro will mark the debut of MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor in India, the Poco X6 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip. Interestingly, the Redmi Note 13 Pro has the same chipset and will be launched in India today, on January 4.
Announcing the chipset of both devices officially, Poco shared a post on X that reads, “A new SPEED-CIES era begins with global debut of 3 chipsets! #POCOX6Pro powered by Dimensity 8300-Ultra. #POCOX6 powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 #POCOX6Series. #POCOM6Pro powered by Helio G99-Ultra. Find out more at the global launch event on January 11th at 20:00 GMT+8.”
Earlier, a Gizmochina report had said that there’s speculation that the Poco X6 might be a rebranded Redmi Note 13 Pro, while the Poco X6 Pro could share similarities with the Redmi K70e.

Poco, as a brand, is known for offering pocket-friendly smartphones to its customers. So many tech enthusiasts are keen on knowing the price of the Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro. However, we will have to wait for January 11 to find out the prices of the devices.
Meanwhile, rumours about the phones’ specs have been circulating for quite some time.
Insiders suggest that the Poco X6 5G may feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5k resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device might come with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Talking about the camera department, users can expect a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an additional 2-megapixel sensor for added functionality.
More details about the Poco X6 Pro 5G are still pending and as we get closer to the launch, the brand might announce more specs.
