Koffee With Karan: Janhvi Kapoor has set the record straight that she will never date any actor as they get ‘very competitive’ even in a relationship.
Koffee With Karan Season 8: Janhvi Kapoor made some interesting revelations about her personal life on the latest episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8. Janhvi revealed that she would “never” date any actor again in her life. For those who didn’t know, Janhvi Kapoor reportedly dated actor Kartik Aaryan during the shoot of now-shelved movie Dostana 2. The duo was also spotted holidaying together in Goa in 2021.

Talking about why she doesn’t want to date a man from acting profession, Janhvi told Karan Johar, “I want someone to be obsessed with me. The thing is you need someone to be okay with your… there needs to be a balance. You need someone who is okay to let you have your moment also but I find with actors that they get very competitive and they get very weird. I’ve said never (to dating actors).”

Janhvi continued, “There is always tension when there is an actor. I can’t deal with that tension because I like to be undyingly devoted and I expect that devotion and I think when you are in the same profession, it’s difficult, specifically this (acting) profession.”
Meanwhile, Janhvi seemingly confirmed her romance with Shikhar Pahariya. When Karan asked Janhvi to name three people on her speed dial, the actress accidentally took Shikhar’s name.

Karan said, “Name three people on your speed-dial list.” Janhvi promptly replied, “Papa, Khushu and Shikhuuu…” She quickly realised that she had mentioned Shikhar Pahariya and her reaction left Karan in splits. During the same game, Karan asked Khushi about Janhvi’s past relationships. To which, Janhvi told Khushi, “I have only dated three boys and we stick to that.”
