The recently constructed temple in Ayodhya is set to open its doors to devotees following the consecration of Lord Ram on January 22.
Ahead of the grand opening of the Ayodhya Ram temple next month, people have started making reservations to visit the holy city. Flights and the semi-high-speed train Vande Bharat are scheduled to commence operations on December 30. Indian Railways is introducing a tour package from Ayodhya to Rameshwaram, that includes visits to various temples in Tamil Nadu. Notably, the eight-day package is priced at approximately Rs 2,000 per day.

IRCTC has introduced a seven-night and eight-day package covering Tiruchirappalli-Madurai-Rameshwaram from Ayodhya Cantt, scheduled to commence on January 3. The package includes visits to various religious sites in Tiruchirappalli, Madurai, and Rameshwaram. The IRCTC tour package offers variable fares. Opting for an individual hotel stay during the journey requires a payment of Rs 32,255 per person. For those travelling in pairs with shared hotel accommodations, the per-person fare is Rs 20,035. If the tour includes three people, the per-person fare is Rs 16,735.

For children aged 5 to 11 accompanying you on the journey, the fare, inclusive of a bed, is Rs 14,460. Without a bed, the cost is Rs 12,890. The package includes accommodation and meals provided by the Railways, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Accommodations will be arranged in reputable hotels as part of the package.
Beginning from Ayodhya, the itinerary will take travellers to visit Tiruchirappalli, an ancient city in South India. The tour will proceed to Srirangam Island, surrounded by the Kaveri and Kollidam rivers, known for the historic Hindu temple Ranganathaswamy. Subsequently, there will be a visit to the Jambukeswarar-Akilandeswari temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The journey also includes a visit to the Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai and concludes with a visit to Rameshwaram situated on Pamban Island.
