Some of the prominent schemes among them are- ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’, Balika Samridhi Yojana (BSY), Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, CBSE Udaan Yojana, Balika Samriddhi Yojana, Mukhyamantri Ladli Yojana, Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana, Mukhyamantri Kanya Suraksha Yojana, etc.

What is Balika Samridhi Yojana?
This scheme was started in 1993.
The benefit of this scheme is available to girls living below the poverty line i.e. born in BPL families.
Through this scheme, the government bears all their expenses from the birth of daughters to their education.
Balika Samridhi Yojana: Benefits
Under this scheme, if the mother has a daughter, financial assistance of Rs 500 is given after the birth of the daughter.
After this, every year scholarship is given for her studies.
In which, every girl student till class I-III gets Rs. 300 per year for each class, class 5-10 scholarship amount: Rs. 600, Rs. 700, Rs. 800, and Rs. 1000 are given per year.
Balika Samridhi Yojana: How can I apply?
You can apply for Balika Samridhi Yojana both online and offline. If you want to apply offline, then first of all, you will have to go to any Anganwadi worker or health service centre and take the form.
The forms for rural and urban beneficiaries are different. If you live in an urban area, you can go to the nearest health functionary and get the form.
Balika Samridhi Yojana: Who can apply?
Only permanent residents of India can apply for this scheme.
Only families living below the poverty line can apply for this scheme.
The benefit of this scheme will be available only to the girl child born on or after August 15, 1997.
Only two girls in one family will get the benefit of this scheme.
