Ather Energy has begun accepting reservations for its upcoming 450 Apex for a nominal fee of Rs 2,500, with deliveries set to begin in March 2024.
Ather Energy has teased a new 450X electric scooter that will sit atop their lineup. It’s called the 450X Apex, and it is expected to be launched soon.
The manufacturer of electric two-wheelers has already begun releasing new teasers for the electric scooter. According to AutoX, Ather has now opened reservations for the 450X Apex.

Customers who are interested in purchasing the scooter can do so by visiting Ather’s official website and paying a nominal fee of Rs 2,500. The 450X Apex will be delivered beginning in March 2024, reports add.
The new 450 Apex will be the most potent Ather to date when it launches in India, and it will be positioned above the current 450X in the lineup. According to Ather, the 450 Apex will have “best-in-class” features because it will be the “pinnacle” of the 450 platform.
The most important aspect of the teaser is the confirmation of a new riding mode that will be included with the 450X Apex. It will be known as Warp+, and it will be located above the current Warp mode. It is anticipated that the Warp+ riding mode will replace the Warp mode in the 450X Apex.

As per the teaser, a camouflaged 450X Apex can be seen beating the current 450X in a drag race. It’s worth noting that the 450X is one of the fastest electric scooters on the market in India. The 450X Apex should accelerate more quickly. The current 450X accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in 3.3 seconds, whereas the maximum speed is restricted to 90 km/h.

The teaser further states that the rider will not need to use the brakes frequently. This is most likely a hint towards multiple levels of brake regeneration. As a result, the rider can simply twist the throttle to the opposite side to increase the level of brake regeneration. This should also help to increase the riding range of the electric scooter.
It is currently unknown what changes Ather will make to the battery pack and electric motor. The cosmetic changes haven’t been revealed because the electric scooter was camouflaged in the teaser. However, the transparent colour option is expected to return, as Tarun Mehta, CEO of Ather Energy, confirmed earlier. He even called it the brand’s “fastest” scooter yet in a social media post.
The new Apex scooter is expected to cost more than the 3.7kWh Ather 450X, which is currently priced at Rs 1.48 lakh (ex-showroom).
