HDFC Bank Vs ICICI Bank Vs PNB FD Rate Comparison: Even as the RBI last week kept the key interest rates unchanged for the fifth time in a row, banks are going to watch the latest inflation numbers to decide on their interest rates decision as the central bank’s priority is inflation. Currently, here’s the comparison of fixed deposit interest rates of HDFC Bank, Punjab National Bank (PNB) and ICICI Bank.

HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank revised their interest rates last week, with effect from December 6, 2023. HDFC Bank is now offering up to 7.75 per cent interest rates on FD, depending upon deposit tenure and depositor’s age. ICICI Bank is offering FD rates up to 7.65 per cent annually and PNB is giving up to 7.75 per cent a year.

  • 7 days to 14 days: For General Public – 3.00 per cent; For Senior Citizens – 3.50 per cent

  • 30 days to 45 days: For General Public – 3.50 per cent; For Senior Citizens – 4.00 per cent
