The second edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction is scheduled to be held in Mumbai on Saturday, December 9. This year’s mini-auction will see 165 cricketers going under the hammer.
Overall, 104 Indian players will be auctioned this time, while the others are overseas. Among the foreign players, 15 are from the associate nations. Each of the five franchises will have a maximum of 30 slots to be fulfilled at the mini-auction. Teams will be allowed to make nine overseas picks.

West Indies’ Deandra Dottin and Ireland’s Kim Garth find themselves in the top bracket of the base price at Rs 50 Lakhs.
