The (PRODUCT) RED version of the Apple Watch Series 9 is now available for buying on Apple’s official online store and retail outlets.
On World AIDS Day, the Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is promoting (PRODUCT)RED versions of a range of products. The company has launched its Apple Watch Series 9 (Product) Red colour model. with some unique watch faces.

The (PRODUCT) RED version of the Apple Watch Series 9 is now available for buying on Apple’s official online store and retail outlets, with prices starting at Rs 41,900 Or $399.
Apple has teamed up with (RED) to support the Global Fund’s efforts in combating HIV/AIDS. A portion of the proceeds from each (PRODUCT)RED purchase supports the Global Fund’s efforts against AIDS and COVID-19.
Until December 8, Apple will contribute $1 for every purchase completed using Apple Pay on apple.com, through the Apple Store app, or at an Apple Store location.

According to the company, in the last 17 years, its customers have contributed over a quarter of a billion dollars, providing millions of individuals with access to essential antiretroviral treatment and HIV testing.
This initiative has also helped HIV-positive mothers prevent transmission of the virus to their babies.
In watchOS 10, Apple has introduced red options for several watch faces, including Palette, Solar Analog, Metropolitan, World Time, Numerals Mono, Gradient, Stripes, and Typograph. This addition of red options is in commemoration of World AIDS Day.

Apple Watch Series 9 runs on the Apple S9 chip—enabling the watch to support several new features, such as fast charge support, on-device Siri, and a new gesture-based feature called ‘double tap.’ The new feature is powered by the 4-core Neural Engine in the S9 processor, which detects your wrist’s motion to enable the double tap.
The Apple Watch Series 9 also gets a new display that can reach 2000 nits of peak brightness—double that of the Apple Watch Series 8—with a minimum brightness of just 1 nit.
Regarding battery life, Apple claims that the “power efficiency of the S9 SiP allows Apple Watch Series 9 to maintain an all-day 18-hour battery life.”
