Indian Railways will run Jansadharan Special trains to control the ongoing rush during the festival season. The move aims at meeting the expectations of the common people, on the basis of providing an easily affordable travel experience back home to their native places for Diwali and Chhath festival and in return. The train will be operated and maintained by the South Central Railway (SCR) zone.
Routes of Jansadharan Special train:-
The SCR zone will run two pairs of Jansadharan Special trains between Secunderabad-Raxaul-Secunderabad. It will run via Nizamabad and Nanded. These special trains will also prove to be useful for the short distance travellers from Secunderabad towards Kamareddy, Basar, Mudkhed, Purna etc.
Distance and Travel Time of Secunderabad-Raxaul-Secunderabad Jansadharan Special train:-
The train number 07007/07008 Secunderabad-Raxaul-Secunderabad Jansadharan Special train will cover a distance of 2049 kms in 43 hours and 30 minutes. The train will depart from Secunderabad on November 12 at 10:30 hrs and will reach Raxaul on November 14 at 06:00 hrs. In return, it will commence its journey on Tuesday at 19:15 hrs and will arrive at Secunderabad at 14:30 hrs on November 16.
